Self-Control and Technology

Josh Harris, Senior Pastor of Covenant Life Church, has written an outstanding post about being self-controlled in our use of technology.  Here is an excerpt:

“I think a lot of us could rephrase the words of Proverbs 24:33-34 about the sluggard and say, “A little web surfing, a little Facebook, a little folding of the hands around the smart phone and spiritual poverty will come upon you like a robber.”

He has also provided some very helpful and thoughtful questions for self-evaluation in this area.  Check out the post and his sermon here.  It would be well worth the time to take an honest evaluation of your use of technology.
